As part of a recent renewable energy strategy for a South Lakeland home - where solar PV panels were installed alongside a Tesla Power Wall, complete new insulation throughout the property, and provision for Air Source heating was made by converting an existing garage into a plant room - this solar PV array was installed on the customer's land.

15x 440w solar PV panels were installed on a timber frame platform due to the property's older roof, complex roof layout, and the availability of south-facing land. Fern Renewables prepared the land (on a hillside belonging to the customer) ready for construction of the frame, custom built the timber frame, and ran the cables to the property in order to tie in the system.

This solar PV system will provide a 6.6kw peak output, powering the customer's home, their electric vehicle, and storing energy in their newly installed Tesla Power Wall.
